Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, all classes held by the club have been temporarily suspended. Check back here and we will let you know when we are able to continue our normal class schedules.

The Obedience Club of San Diego County, Inc. was formed in 1948 by a responsible and insightful group of dog fanciers hoping to share their knowledge and experience with the dog-owning community.

Our guiding principle is to teach dog owners the foundation skills to build a trusting relationship with their dog, and to become responsible pet owners. Our instructors utilize a variety of training methods to teach fun, engaging activities and exercises, in a positive class environment — where you can discover the joy of owning a well-mannered dog.

Conveniently located, our classes are held in the parking lot of the San Diego Zoo. Additionally, we offer AKC Obedience, Rally and Scent Work Trials, at which qualifying performances lead to AKC Titles. We also offer Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Testing several times during the year.

Please explore the links on the left and discover new ways to enhance your relationship with your dogs!
